Kwestan Mohammed, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, revealed that alongside the rise in autism rates, the number of autism centers has also increased.

Number of Centers
Due to changes in regulations, the number of autism centers has grown from 8 centers under the previous cabinet to 58 centers at present.

Public vs. Private
Out of the 58 centers across the Kurdistan Region, 47 are private centers, while only 11 are government-run.

Increase in Cases
According to the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, in recent years the rate of children diagnosed with autism has been on the rise.

Drop in Costs
The increase in the number of centers and the resulting competition among them has led to lower costs, which benefits families with autistic children.
