Air navigation across the United Arab Emirates has returned to normal following the lifting of temporary precautionary measures, the country’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) announced Tuesday.

In a statement carried by the state-run Emirates News Agency (WAM), the authority said the decision was made after a comprehensive assessment of operational and security conditions, in coordination with relevant authorities.

“The decision was taken after a comprehensive assessment of operational and security conditions,” the GCAA said, adding that continuous real-time monitoring remains in place to ensure the highest levels of safety for air navigation.

Precautionary Measures Lifted

The GCAA had earlier announced a temporary and partial closure of UAE airspace, citing the need to ensure the safety of flights and air crews amid rapidly evolving regional security developments.

Authorities said the precautionary measures were implemented to safeguard both aviation operations and national airspace during a period of heightened tensions.

With conditions now stabilized, the UAE has resumed full air navigation operations, while maintaining ongoing monitoring to respond to any changes in the security environment.

The UAE is a major regional aviation hub, and the restoration of normal operations is expected to help maintain the flow of international air traffic through the Gulf.
