The Iraqi Meteorology Department has released its latest weather forecast, predicting rainfall in parts of the Kurdistan Region on Sunday, while dust storms are expected to affect central and southern provinces of Iraq.

Weather Forecast for Saturday and Sunday

The Iraqi Meteorology Office stated that temperatures on Saturday are expected to rise across all provinces compared to today’s readings.

On Sunday, rainfall is expected in some areas of the Kurdistan Region, while active northwesterly winds are forecast to trigger dust storms in parts of central and southern Iraq.

Weather Conditions for the Coming Days

According to Iraqi meteorological forecasts, weather conditions are expected to remain stable on Monday and Tuesday.

Recent Rainfall and Lower Temperatures

The Kurdistan Region’s Meteorology Directorate also announced that recent waves of rainfall have contributed to lower temperatures this May compared to the same period in previous years.
