Following the example of Saraya al-Salam, the process of integrating fighters from Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq and Kata'ib al-Imam Ali into state security forces is now underway.

Initial Steps Toward State Control of Weapons

Saad Maan, head of the Security Media Cell, announced that the first practical step toward restricting weapons to state control officially began in Samarra with Saraya al-Salam.

Other groups, including Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq and Kata'ib al-Imam Ali, have responded to the call and initiated legal procedures to complete the disarmament and integration process, following the same path as Saraya al-Salam.

PMF Structure and Organizational Restructuring

Regarding the organizational structure and leadership of the PMF brigades, Saad Maan stated that this file is governed by established frameworks and regulations.

The process begins with the handover of medium and heavy weapons, followed by restructuring and full integration into state institutions.

Strategic Security Vision

He emphasized that the Joint Operations Command has a strategic plan for redistributing responsibilities and security tasks previously handled by these groups, including border security duties.

This approach is designed to serve the national interest while ensuring the rights of all personnel.

Ending Political Affiliations of Armed Groups

According to Saad Maan, groups integrated into official security institutions will no longer maintain any political affiliations. Their movements and orders will be issued exclusively through formal state security channels.
