Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority Reopens Airspace, Resumes Nationwide Flights

The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority announced on Monday the official reopening of Iraq's airspace to all domestic and international commercial flights, lifting previous transit restrictions following a comprehensive safety review.

Immediate Resumption of Air Traffic

According to an official statement issued by the aviation authority, the decision restores regular flight operations to and from all airports across the country. Air traffic will resume immediately in accordance with standard approved operational procedures.

Ongoing Security Coordination and Safety Monitoring

The authority emphasized that it is continuously monitoring and assessing the regional security environment in close coordination with competent defense and security agencies to ensure the highest levels of safety and security within Iraqi airspace.

Official Communication Channels

Aviation officials added that airlines and passengers will be promptly notified of any further updates regarding air navigation or operational status through official government channels.
