U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a series of statements on Iran, claiming that the country’s military capabilities have significantly deteriorated, criticizing its negotiation strategy with Washington, and asserting that U.S. naval and economic pressure has left Tehran increasingly weakened and struggling to function.

Trump Declares Iran’s Military "Completely Defeated"

In his statement on Truth Social, Trump asserted that Iran’s military had suffered a major defeat, claiming that much of the country’s armed forces had effectively ceased to function.

“Iran’s military is a complete and total mess,” Trump said. He further claimed that significant parts of Iran’s military infrastructure, including its navy and air force, “don’t even exist anymore,” adding that they had been “completely defeated.”

Trump also criticized Iran’s leadership, arguing that the country projects strength rhetorically but fails to back it up with action.

“Iran is all talk and no action,” he stated, describing the country as “The Bully of the Middle East” and declaring that it is “DEAD.”

Warning Over Failed Negotiations

The U.S. president linked his remarks to negotiations between Washington and Tehran, arguing that Iran had missed an opportunity to secure favorable terms.

“They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them,” Trump said. He warned that, as a result, “now they will have to pay the price.”

Trump Praises U.S. Naval Blockade and Economic Pressure on Iran

Trump also praised what he described as the effectiveness of U.S. maritime measures against Iran, claiming that American naval forces have established “the most successful blockade in the history of naval warfare.”

He asserted that “nothing gets through unless we want it to” and described the operation as “a steel wall.”

Trump further claimed that Iran is conducting “zero business,” is unable to pay its military personnel or meet its financial obligations, and is “quickly becoming a failed nation.”

Despite those assertions, he added that “lots of oil is getting out,” concluding his remarks with the phrase, “Praise be to Allah!”
