The Kurdistan Region’s Commission of Integrity has announced that any citizen or government employee who reports corruption, bribery, or misuse of power within state institutions will be rewarded and have their identity protected.
Chairman Ahmed Anwar explained that under the Commission’s Law No. 3 (2011), amended by Law No. 7 (2014), individuals who provide credible information about illegal activities or corruption will receive financial compensation. The commission guarantees the confidentiality of whistleblowers’ names and positions, ensuring their rights are safeguarded.
This initiative aims to protect public wealth and return it to the treasury of the Kurdistan Region.
