The athletes come from various cities across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, transforming mountains and open plains into training grounds for launching into the sky. The school has become a center for youth passionate about paragliding.
Pilot Experiences and the Feeling of Flight
Himmat Karim, a young man from Duz Khurmatu, is the first paraglider from his hometown and describes flying as the most exhilarating experience of his life.
Another pilot, Soz Hasan, continues to train regularly with teammates to improve precision and performance in their aerial flights.
Flying Across the Mountains of Kurdistan
The group is not limited to one location and frequently travels to different mountain ranges to practice paragliding.
For this journey, they chose Mount Balambo in Halabja Province to launch their flight from its high summit.
Showcasing Kurdistan’s Tourist Destinations from the Sky
