CENTCOM: 55 Commercial Vessels and Oil Tankers Transited Hormuz Today
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz has increased, with 55 commercial vessels transiting the strait today alone, carrying 17 million barrels of oil to global markets.
CENTCOM emphasized its commitment to protecting freedom of navigation following earlier Iranian warnings for ships not to approach the strait.

The United States Central Command stated that shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz has risen, with 55 vessels transiting the strait this Saturday.
In its official statement, CENTCOM confirmed that its forces continue operations in the region to support and secure freedom of navigation across these vital waters.
Commercial Shipping Transit Statistics
The statement noted that the safe passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, a key international waterway, remains uninterrupted, with 55 commercial ships crossing today.
According to CENTCOM data, approximately 17 million barrels of crude oil moved through the Strait of Hormuz toward global markets this Saturday.
Monitoring the Washington–Tehran Agreement
CENTCOM emphasized that U.S. forces will remain vigilant and alert to fully guarantee and enforce all clauses of the bilateral agreement signed between the United States and Iran.
Iran’s Previous Warnings
This announcement comes after the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters previously claimed violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon, prompting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to warn maritime traffic to stay away from the Strait of Hormuz or face imminent risk.
