Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi called on all citizens to report public assets and funds derived from corruption crimes, offering a financial reward for whistleblowers who assist in the exposure and recovery of state property.

According to an official statement, the initiative aligns with the government's ministerial program to protect public funds and enforce accountability.

Financial Rewards for Whistleblowers

To incentivize public participation and support anti-corruption efforts, the Prime Minister directed that a rewarding financial percentage be granted to whistleblowers.

The incentive structure includes the following parameters:

  • The financial reward will be allocated in strict accordance with existing legal frameworks.
  • Rewards are intended to recognize the national role of citizens in safeguarding state assets.
  • The official communication channels and dedicated reporting links for whistleblowers will be announced by the government at a later date.

National Anti-Corruption Initiative

The Prime Minister’s office framed the initiative as a shared religious, moral, and national responsibility, emphasizing that public cooperation is vital for the repatriation of stolen assets. Al-Zaidi stressed his administration's commitment to implementing systemic anti-corruption measures, warning that the recovery of illicitly obtained funds remains a top priority for state stability and economic integrity.
