Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Halabja Governor Nukhsha Nasih in Slemani, praising her tenure as a successful administrative model and pledging full support for the governorate's service projects.

During their meeting on Sunday, Talabani expressed his appreciation for Nukhsha Nasih’s role and service as the first female governor in both the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. 

He stressed that Nasih has presented “a successful model of administration and service to Halabja and the proud families of the martyrs.”

Halabja Governor Seeks Support for Municipal Services 

The Halabja Governor delivered a detailed overview of the governorate's active programs and resource requirements, emphasizing the need for unified political backing to upgrade municipal services. 

The PUK president affirmed the party's backing and support to ensure the success of the governorate's work. 

“Halabja and its proud citizens deserve more services; therefore, at this stage, efforts must focus on implementing more projects that are suitable and well-deserved for the city,” he added.
