EU quizzes LinkedIn on personal data use for advertising

The European Commission has requested information from LinkedIn, the professional networking platform owned by Microsoft, regarding the usage of users’ personal data for targeted advertising.

This formal request was made under the Digital Services Act, which imposes strict regulations on online platforms operating within the European Union to prevent the exploitation of user data.
