The Health Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Saman Barzanji, has revealed that an agreement has been reached with key stakeholders to enhance the health sector in their region.
He noted that the Kurdistan Region’s environmental and health indicators have been rated highly by international assessments.
To further develop the sector, a health conference is set to take place in Erbil, where experts from the Kurdistan Region and international academic institutions will participate.
Saman Barzanji emphasized that the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is focused on strengthening its collaboration with relevant parties and institutions of higher education to elevate their efforts in advancing the health sector.
He also highlighted the global recognition of medical graduates from the region, pointing to their high level of expertise and credibility in the field.
