In a fiery debate on Thursday, a faltering Joe Biden struggled to address concerns about his age, while Donald Trump launched personal attacks, calling Biden a failure in both the economy and foreign affairs.

Biden attempted to counter but stumbled over his words, sparking concern within the Democratic Party as polls show Trump either tied or leading for the upcoming election.

This historic debate, the first between a sitting president and a former president, saw both accusing each other of being the worst in history and trading insults over their golf swings.

The two candidates, Biden at 81 and Trump at 78, did not shake hands at CNN’s Atlanta headquarters, and their microphones were muted while the other spoke.

Biden criticized Trump, calling him “the first convicted felon in the White House” and saying, “You have the morals of an alley cat.”

Trump, projecting confidence, criticized Biden’s record and mocked his delivery, saying, “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said either.”
