On World Cancer Day, a charity run is scheduled in Sulaymaniyah on Sunday, with proceeds going towards the treatment of cancer patients.
The event is a collaborative effort between the Sulaymaniyah branch of the Kurdistan Track and Field Union and the Kurdistan Organization for Aid to Cancer Patients.
Income generated from T-shirt sales will be contributed to the Zhianawa Cancer Center in Sulaymaniyah.
People, including both men and women, and administrative staff from cancer centers, particularly the Zhianawa Center, will participate in the run.
At the end of the race, awards will be presented to the top ten winners.
Every year, February 4 is designated for global cancer awareness, marked by various activities worldwide.
