Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) fired ballistic missiles on a mock target designed to resemble “an Israeli airbase”, Tasnim News Agency said on Wednesday.

The IRGC said on Tuesday that its “Emad” and “Qadr” ballistic missiles successfully hit a mock target constructed to mirror Palmachim airbase, where F-35 fighter jets are stored.

The missiles’ range and accuracy have been extended, according to Tasnim, which said the mock target was three times smaller in scale compared to the actual airbase.

“The new version of the Emad missile, running on liquid fuel, has hit the mock target at a distance of 1,700 km with a margin of error below 4 meters,” Tasnim News said.
