Nechirvan Barzani said political efforts to narrow differences between the Kurdistan Region’s parties and overcome the current stalemate remain active. Recently, KDP Political Bureau member Jaafar Eminki stated that an agreement between the two parties is approaching.

Addressing Erbil-Baghdad relations, Barzani called on the Iraqi government to coordinate with the Kurdistan Regional Government when preparing the federal budget.
