The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said coalition forces have transported a plane loaded with weapons and military supplies to the Kharab al-Jair base in Hasaka, Syria.

According to the war monitor, an international coalition cargo plane from Iraq transported the weapons and supplies to the base in the area of Rumailan in northern Hasaka.

The SOHR said the cargo plane’s journey coincided with flights of US fighter jets over the area.

A coalition cargo plane accompanied by a helicopter transported weapons and military supplies on March 10 to the al-Omar oil field in Deir ez-Zor province before setting off for the base at the Koniko gas field.

A US military convoy also entered the town of al-Shahil in eastern Deir ez-Zor, the SOHR said.

International coalition forces have increased the delivery of weapons and military supplies to their bases in northern and eastern Syria in recent months following attacks by armed groups on their bases in preparation for expected assaults.
