Iraqi PM, Jordanian Ambassador pledge strengthened cooperation, address Gaza crisis

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met with Jordanian Ambassador Montaser Al-Zou’bi on Monday, emphasizing the imperative of bolstering strategic collaboration between their nations within the Joint Committee framework.

In discussions highlighted by Al-Sudani’s media office, both leaders underscored the significance of fortifying bilateral ties across diverse economic, commercial, and industrial domains, as delineated in the Iraqi-Jordanian Joint Committee.

The meeting broached the ongoing aggression against Palestinians in Gaza, stressing the critical necessity for an immediate ceasefire and the delivery of vital aid to the affected people.

Expressing deep concern over the dire circumstances endured by Gazans amidst relentless aggression and severe measures imposed by Israeli occupying authorities, the leaders advocated for swift action to alleviate the suffering of the people in Gaza.
