Iraq has investment-friendly environment, says finance minister

The Iraqi Finance Minister Taif Sami said that Iraq offers an appealing business environment for investment.

During a meeting with Czech Ambassador to Iraq, Peter Štepanek, Sami emphasized that Iraq provides an enticing environment for investment and trade, which has promising investment opportunities based on advanced economic infrastructure.

“Iraq has the potential for productive projects and is committed to supporting the private sector,” she said, expressing readiness to collaborate with the Czech Republic in finance, banking, investment, and infrastructure reconstruction.

Štepanek reaffirmed his country’s commitment to supporting the Iraqi government, particularly in the fields of finance and trade.
