Spokesperson for Duhok Civil Defense Bewar Abdulaziz said that the recent heavy rainfall and floods have resulted in over 1,000 damaged houses and 50 missing vehicles.
Abdulaziz told Channel8 that the floods have caused damage to over 1,000 houses and 200 vehicles, with 50 vehicles currently missing.
He said three people died in the floods, and the bodies of two of them remain unfound, prompting ongoing search efforts.
On March 19, Duhok governorate was severely affected by heavy floods, resulting in significant material damage.
