Two people are reported missing as a result of floods in a neighborhood within Duhok city on Tuesday, with Bewar Adul Aziz, spokesperson for Duhok Civil Defense Directorate, saying that their current status, whether they are alive or not, remains unclear.
Abdul Aziz told Channel8 that heavy rains caused water to enter 10 houses.
He said that as a result of heavy rains since yesterday, three main streets in the city center have been closed due to water accumulation.
The spokesperson urged citizens to remain at home to prevent any unforeseen circumstances.
